I have been using red light for around a year now. I only use the 850nm mode and I pulse it. My main focus is on general health and I don’t really care about skin improvements that much being a male.
Over this year, I can feel that my stamina and recovery from exercise has improved. Soreness after exercise seems to be noticeably milder after red light therapy. Once, when I used the red light device at night, I found it especially hard to fall asleep. My own guess is that my mitochondria and ATP production was boosted and that kept me up all night. I also had the same experience after taking creatinine at night before. I have been using it in the mornings and afternoons since.
Red light is not a miracle treatment. It takes weeks and months to see effects. If someone is generally healthy, like myself, you would not expect to see very dramatic changes as well.
Usually after a red light session, I feel lighter and more energetic.
