Generally, for our main standard panel, we recommend 50s at 6 inches and 1 minute at 10 inches every 3 days (2x per week).
For beginners, we recommend that you start low and then adjust upwards based on how you feel. So you could try 30s at 6 inches and 45s at 10 inches every 2 or 3 days and then increase the frequency and duration slightly if want to.
More is not better with red light therapy! There is a biphasic dose response for red light.
We try to aim for around 3 J/cm² each treatment due to the biphasic dose response for red light. Studies have shown that even at 2 J/cm², there are decent benefits. Exceeding 8 J/cm² is not recommended.
Once the cellular mechanisms have been reactivated by red light, a few days rest is required for photobiomodulation to maximally efficient. We should not do sessions daily but space them out 3 days apart. Less is more when it comes to red light.

This is why it is vital that if you are using a red light therapy panel, you must know the irradiance of the panel. 99% of panels in the market do not have their irradiance listed or their irradiance listed is not accurate.
For our panels, we measure the irradiance ourselves to ensure our irradiance is accurate so our customers can use the panel properly.
Our standard panel offers ~70 mW/cm² at 6 inches and ~45 mW/cm² at 10 inches.
